Privacy Policy

In accordance with Art. 13 (“Information to be provided where personal data are collected from the data subject”) and Art. 22 (“Automated individual decision-making, including profiling”) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we wish to inform you that the personal data of all individuals (hereinafter “Data Subjects”) that are registered on the website www.loglimassimo.it (hereinafter the “Site”) will be processed by Logli Massimo S.p.A., a single member company with registered office in Milan, Via Ettore Romagnoli 6 – Tax Code 02221630979 (hereinafter the “Data Controller”), in its capacity as Controller of the data processed manually, on paper, digitally, and electronically.

As Data Controller and legal entity forming part of a group of companies (the Saint-Gobain Group, hereinafter also the “the Group”), you are informed that if the Data Controller intends to transfer your data to parties belonging to the Group, this will take place in respect of the provisions under Art. 47 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“Binding Corporate Rules”).

We believe it is important to provide Data Subjects with suitable information on the methods with which their personal data will be processed, so that they are able to make appropriate choices regarding the purposes of their use. For these reasons, we invite you to carefully read this Privacy Policy.

1) Where are your data saved and who has access to them?

The Data Controller saves the data of Data Subjects in a specific server located in Europe and carries out all other processing with personnel employed for this purpose.
The database can only be accessed by authorised individuals using methods that guarantee its protection and confidentiality, thanks to the use of security measures established to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorised access.

2) How can your personal data be used?

The Data Subjects' personal data collected via this form and processed by the Data Controller may be sent to other legal entities of the national and international Saint-Gobain Group the Data Controller belongs to. The submission of personal data and any consent to processing, where required, are optional for all Users.

To this end, it is specified that the personal data collected will be processed for the following purposes:

i) To allow Data Subjects to enjoy the services explicitly requested by them and made available to them by the Group, such as downloading software, computing objects (e.g. BIM objects), or general documentation, the online use of these, registration to events and to training courses in particular (including online ones), obtaining technical, commercial, or generally explanatory information, including correspondence regarding participation in events the Data Subjects have signed up to;

ii) To send informative communications (intended to keep Data Subjects constantly updated on the Group’s activities, e.g. products, services, events, and news) to the email address or telephone number or postal address they explicitly indicated during registration on the site, and commercial contact in general;

iii) To use the information collected with the above methods (opening and reading correspondence, downloading documents/objects/programmes published on the site, use of software)

iv) Administrative purposes.

The Data Controller uses Data Subjects’ data in accordance with the preferences that the Data Subjects freely exercised through their express consent at the moment of collection, without prejudice to requirements to comply with contractual or legal obligations.
 

3) How long are your personal data stored for?

The data processing duration is established as 12 months from the date in which the Interested Parties transferred them  for the first time to the Data Controller, or have reconfirmed their consent to treatment. As of the date of termination of the relationship for any reason or cause, the data will be stored for the duration of the applicable limitation terms pursuant to law.

4) How can you express, change, or revoke your consent?

Consent to data processing in relation to the purposes described above may be expressed individually for each purpose by using the boxes at the bottom of the registration form.

Data Subjects can change or revoke consent at any time without the need to provide further explanation. As a consequence of revocation, their data will be immediately deleted or rendered in such a way that the individual cannot be identified (for statistics-related requirements). Requests to change or revoke the consent can be sent via e-mail to the address: privacy.loglimassimo@saint-gobain.com.

5) What rights can you exercise on your personal data?

In accordance with Art. 15 (“Rights of access by the data subject”) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as a Data Subject, you have the right to obtain from the Data Controller access to your data for the following information:

a. The purposes of the processing, the personal data categories concerned, the data recipients, the storage period, the transfer of data to third countries, including those outside the European Union;

b. To rectify, erase, and limit or oppose to the processing of your data;

c. To verify if automated individual decision-making exists relating to you pursuant to Art. 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679;

d. The right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority;

e. The right to erasure in accordance with the provisions of Art. 17 (“Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)”) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Pursuant to Art. 15, paragraph 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Data Subjects always have the right to obtain a copy, on a durable medium, of their data processed by the Data Controller. In any case, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 20 “Right to data portability”) of the Regulation, Data Subjects have the right to data “portability”, that is, the right to directly transfer personal data from one Data Controller to another, where feasible.
