JOINTED STUD: The Jointed Stud system maintains a lack of bending stress situation on the panels introducing at the same time innovative features compared to traditional joints: • the glass drilling is replaced with a corner carving(which can be done when the panel is pre cut), this involves a considerable cost reduction and glass breakage reduction. • Where traditional systems require the panels to be on the same plane(which means that curved facades or corners require special joints), the Jointed Stud allows to direct the panels within any angle between 90° and 180°, therefore it possible to create curved facades using the same joint. • Easy assembling. The spherical ends can be pre-mounted on the glass panels, therefore the assembling of the panels consist only in inserting the spherical head inside their rests.
